KeyShot Network Rendering distributes rendering work across computers on your own network. Use available CPU and supported GPU resources to render images and animations while keeping your design workstation available for other tasks.
License and core options
Choose an annual core-capacity subscription: 16, 32, 64, 96, 128, 160, 192, 224, 256, 288, 320 or 352 cores. The selected capacity limits the rendering resources that can be active at the same time; it is not a count of Studio user seats or computers.
- CPU logical cores, including hardware threads, count toward the licensed capacity.
- For GPU rendering, each GPU uses 16 licensed cores. See how Network Rendering cores are counted.
- The Manager needs a Network Rendering license. Worker computers do not need separate KeyShot Studio seats; users submitting scenes need a compatible Studio license.
Before ordering, confirm your required core capacity and Studio license compatibility with CG River. For a larger configuration, request a suitable quote rather than combining packs without confirmation.
Studio compatibility
For current KeyShot Studio subscriptions, Network Rendering is available as a Business add-on and is included with Enterprise; it is not offered with Professional. For older KeyShot versions or existing licenses, please confirm compatibility and entitlement before purchasing.
Rendering and administration
- Manager and Worker services distribute render tasks across the network.
- Monitor jobs, progress and available workers through the Render Queue.
- Schedule worker availability and limit CPU cores or GPUs allocated to rendering.
- Manage user access and organize render jobs.
Performance depends on scene complexity, hardware, network conditions and licensed capacity. Additional cores do not guarantee a fixed speed increase.
Installation and system requirements
Use compatible Network Rendering components on participating computers. Windows, macOS and supported Linux configurations are documented in the CG River system-requirements guide. GPU jobs require compatible GPU workers.
In Studio 2026, the former Monitor is called Render Queue and is supplied with the Studio installer, except on Linux. See installation and licensing and worker resource controls.
Delivery and term
Digital software download for a one-year subscription. Computers and network hardware are not included.
