What is FurryBall?
FurryBall is incredibly fast real-time GPU production quality UNBIASED, as well as BIASED, final frame renderer - NOT prelighter! It offers advanced rendering techniques, implemented directly into Maya and 3ds Max (public Beta), with multi GPU support. FurryBall was developing for in-house AAA studio purposes since 2008. It just simply works in real production and was already proved by many productions.
FurryBall offers all required features and quality as regular CPU renders.
What makes FurryBall so special and fast?
FurryBall uniqueness is the combination of the speed of GPU rasterization with uncompromising quality of Physically-based full global illumination UNBIASED raytrace (Path tracer - Monte Carlo), based on NVIDIA® OptiX™. This combination make FurryBall incredibly fast and variable.
FurryBall is extremely fast in BIASED - cartoon like rendering even in very high resolution. The image below was rendered in 4K resolution on GTX Titan - 5 min per frame.
- FurryBall license contains Standalone, Network (remote) and BOTH Maya and 3DS Max plugins.
- The licence is PERMANENT, NODE locked (or floating on Dongle on special request) and DOESN'T require internet connection.
- The license is per COMPUTER - number of GPUs in computer is UNLIMITED.
